SafeCoat® TBI

Intumescent Fire Protection for Exposed Spray Foam.

SafeCoat® TBI is a single-component, latex-based intumescent fire-retardant coating specifically engineered for exposed interior spray polyurethane foam (SPF) applications. When exposed to heat, SafeCoat® TBI expands many times its original dry film thickness, forming a durable insulating char that helps limit heat penetration and reduce available oxygen at the surface.

 

Designed to meet fire protection requirements while maintaining ease of application, SafeCoat® TBI provides dependable performance in environments where SPF must remain exposed. Tested in government-approved laboratories, it delivers trusted protection where safety and compliance are critical.
