SafeCoat® Exterior is a single-component, waterborne intumescent fire-retardant coating engineered for exterior wood applications. Formulated for use on SPF plywood, OSB, and dimensional lumber, it delivers proven flame and smoke control in environments where performance can't be compromised.

When exposed to heat, SafeCoat® Exterior expands dramatically, forming a dense insulating char that shields the substrate and limits oxygen exposure, slowing flame spread to a rating of less than 25, and as low as 10 in certified testing.
